Professor Introduces “CAALM”—Call for FDA Updates of COVD-19 Vax Labels for Transparency

On the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) “non rulemaking docket” is an action titled “Requests that the FDA require that the sponsors of Comirnaty, Spikevax, Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, and Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine (collectively, “Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines'') amend current product labeling.” Why? Well, this media has reported lots of concerns about a lack of transparency associated with the COVID-19 vaccines. Now, there is apparently a move to do something about it via an organization calling itself the Coalition Advocating for Adequately Labeled Medicines, or “CAALM,” led by a professor with significant scientific pedigree from University of Maryland.
