HUMBLY IMITATE THE HUMBLE ONE

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

You know guys, I was really thinking a lot about what not only Sheridan Voysey was saying in this morning's devotional about what it means to be humble, and I was especially amazed over something he shared about how at one time humility was considered a weakness. Ironically, in some ways we're going back to that type of attitude, and I'm seeing it a lot in social media, the things I see on TV and a lot more. I think that's why this particular question from this morning's devotional really, really challenged my heart, and I'd like to share it with you tonight. Please read this question very carefully my friends, and I pray that God will speak to you through it.

What would the world be like if humility was still a weakness?

I thought about this question, and it really blew my mind, because the only thing I could come up with along with Ricky, my husband, is that we'd be living in a world without hope. Thinking not only about this question, but also this morning scripture, really challenged my heart in many ways, and God showed me some things from His Word that I'd like to share with all of you through this vlog tonight. So, my friends, as I close this post for tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's emotional, and I pray that it will challenge you to live humbly before God, by learning to imitate Christ Jesus, who was the ultimate example of humility in our lives.

In what relationships can you imitate Jesus’ humility today?

I don't know what you do in your life my friends, but I pray that whatever it is, whatever type of work you do, or what you do at home, that you do it as unto the Lord and not to men. I pray that you show generosity, as well as sincere humility and everything you say and do, being willing to get your hands dirty, even if you're the CEO of a company so that you can represent Christ well. I pray that you also see that it doesn't take a “Be Humble Day,” to practice and live out being humble, but that you choose to do so because of your love for Jesus.
