The MCU Is Dead! Long Live The DCU!

Okay, maybe not quite yet, but the MCU at the very least is on life support, in the ICU, experiencing the same mortality that befalls all once-great franchises. Phase 4 was almost a complete disaster in every sense of the word. Phase 5 has already started off precariously. Can the MCU be saved? Are we seeing the franchise in its death throes? What are the issues that Marvel needs to fix to get this back on the right track?
