President of Pakistan sets election date for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.

On February 20th, President Dr. Arif Alvi of Pakistan made an official announcement that the elections for the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies will be held on April 9th.

The President exercised his constitutional authority under Section 57 (1&2) of Election Act 2017 to make this decision.
