Long Version - CAVU Landing EA-18G Growler Cockpit View into Grand Junction, CO

Long version by popular request.

I received numerous email requests to show more of the "CAVU Landing" video, so I cut a longer version that includes footage of me transiting over the Roan Plateau (Northwest of Grand Junction, nestled in the Rocky Mountains), then intercepting the "Highline Canal", just West of Grand Junction. I then follow the canal and the farm road to the Grand Junction Airport, which is located on the North West side of the city. If you look closely while I am over the canal, you can see I-70 and the city of Grand Junction to the South (off my right wing).

This is footage of Dash-1 perspective of a good-deal out-and-in from NAS Whidbey Island to Grand Junction, CO. I led the section in for a fan break. Easy day. Fly Navy!

Time for pizza and toffee.

Oh, and for you non-pilot types, CAVU means “ceiling and visibility unlimited”.

By popular request, I have created a venue for my wingmen to support our mission. I have put a lot of time and energy into this YouTube channel and have aspirations for it to be much, much more...but I need your help. Please consider a one-time or reoccurring donation to Growler Jams to buy me a beer. The link is below.
