Behold the Power of Steam! - EA-18G Growler Cockpit View Catapult Launch - Bring your Squeegee!

US Navy EA-18G Growler catapult shot off the TR (CVN-71) somewhere in the Arabian Gulf circa 2017. This was a MAX power Case I launch off catapult 2 on a day training sortie.

If you watch closely, you will see a VFA-113 Super Hornet and a VAQ-139 Growler launch off the waist before me.

Around time 2:38 you can see a lot of steam pouring out the catapult between launches. I actually had to stop taxiing at one point because I could not longer see my director through the steam.

This was a lot of fun. I'm just happy to be here.

Jam. Strike. Win.
