Oak Hill Church of Christ 2-19-23 Message: "Seeing the Unseen"

Oak Hill Church of Christ preaching minister, Randy Sterling, delivers a message on the steadfast hope that comes with trusting God in matters that cannot be seen with the eye, but only with the heart.

Too often, man's perception of God extends only to what man can comprehend. To make a sick girl well is understandable. To make a dead girl live again is laughable.

Jesus invites those who follow him to step beyond only the things they can comprehend, and into the realm of the things God is capable of. A faith which only extends to the things one has seen is not much faith, nor is it very much comfort. For, if God ends at the things we understand, so does God's power to help.

Follow the words of Christ who rejected the limitations of God from the crowd saying 'your daughter is dead' and instead, hear the voice of God declaring "Do not be afraid; just believe." (Mark 5:21-43)
