Product management is a key role in many organizations, especially those that are focused on creating and delivering new products to the market. A product manager is responsible for overseeing the development of a product from concept to launch, and is often involved in many aspects of the product, from design to marketing.
To be an effective product manager, there are several key skills and competencies that are important to develop. One of the most important is a deep understanding of the customer and their needs. A product manager must be able to gather and synthesize feedback from customers, understand their pain points and challenges, and use that information to guide the development of the product.
