Why are there no gardening classes? | Plant People
There may be a few reasons why there aren't as many gardening classes as one might expect.
Firstly, gardening can be a very location-specific activity. The types of plants and growing conditions that are suitable for one area may be very different from another area, so it can be challenging to create a standardized curriculum for gardening classes that can be universally applicable. This can be especially true when considering factors like soil type, climate, and availability of resources like water and sunlight.
Secondly, gardening can also be a seasonal activity, with certain plants only being suitable for planting during specific times of the year. This can make it difficult to offer year-round gardening classes or maintain interest in a gardening class that is only available during certain seasons.
