Oxford 18th February 2023 - Protest against LTN's: Part 7 - Back to the City Centre

As I'd mistakenly missed the speeches by Oxford residents, once we were back on Queen Street, and things seemed to completely fizzle out, I decided to ask some residents for their opinion on what was happening to their city.
Oxford City Council is one of many local authorities in the UK, and around the world, that are seeking to control when and how people travel around their own cities. In the case of Oxford, the council is seeking to divide the city into districts and wishes to control the number of times residents can leave their district by car each year. Fines are proposed for those who exceed their 'allowance'. The barriers are already going up.
