CHP releases video of a trail rescue of a female hiker when surrounded by trees

This afternoon, CHP H-30 was requested by the Fairfield Fire Department to respond and assist with a rescue on a single track trail.

H-30 arrived overhead and lowered a crew member to the scene. Firefighters had treated the hiker and prepared her for a rescue. H-30 hoisted a female hiker from the scene and transported her to a waiting Solano Medic Ambulance.
