Hawk Flyby and why I switched to the Nelson Rigg Commuter tail bag.

When I first got my Honda CB300R I was using the 10L Sedici dry bag as my commuting storage. It didn't fail, or have issues, I just realized that my real need was a bit different and I could make a more standard tail bag work. The Nelson Rigg Commuter tail bag (mid sized one) is more than big enough and sticks out far enough to act as a fender when it's wet out. Now I don't get road spray up my back. The Sedici really didn't stick out far enough to deal with it, but WAS easier to just wash off afterward.

I used Kiwi waterproofing spray on the Nelson Rigg and it's working pretty well. I assume I've missed enough spots that in a long drenching it wouldn't be ideal, but remember, we're dealing with a 20 minute commute here.
