Since we're children, society tells us that we need to go to university, then get a good job, then build a career, then buy a house etc.

I was on this trajectory but thankfully I realized one day that the way my life was going, even though I'd have all the ingredients that would constitute "success", I'd never be truly happy.

I decided to write my own story rather than live by the narrative that society had written for me.

So I sold EVERYTHING I had (except a couple of suitcases), QUIT my job in Melbourne, Australia and booked a one way ticket away from the comfortable life I knew.
