Finally Emptied The Moving Truck At The New Homestead

We finally finished emptying the moving truck and watched it pull away from the new homestead. My Dad came over to help remove the last of the stuff and take the truck down to be returned.

It is $300 cheaper to return the truck down south so it is very much worth the trip.

Saturday evening my Sister and boyfriend brought my Dad up to help unload the bigger items from the truck. There were some things I could not remove alone so I needed help.

My Sister left Saturday evening after pizza with us all. My Dad stayed overnight.

Sunday just before lunch time my parents left in the big truck to return it.

Melanie and I worked till after dark cleaning up the place and getting stuff inside. We had to clear off the entire yard because it was supposed to rain the next day.

But somehow we managed to get it done.
