Frozen Homestead As Winter Approaches In Force
We woke up to four inches of snow on the ground. It was beautiful but it means that winter is here in force and here to stay. We still have a lot of work to get done here on the homestead before the deep cold sets in though.

I had to sweep off the solar panels in order to get some solar power coming into the off grid tiny house on wheels. The snow gives one advantage of amplifying the suns rays onto the solar panels. The cold temperatures make the solar panels more efficient as well.
I spent the better part of the day working on my websites. I get a good share of my income from working on websites. I am going to dispose of my wordpress blog and move to my more simple and streamlined article site. I have to copy and paste over 300 blog posts to the article site though and this is taking time. The blog has been harmed by hackers and I am not getting the formatting to carry through. So this means a lot of manual labor and time involved in moving the articles.
But for the future this will mean a more stable and solid website, meaning less work for me and a safer and stable experience for my viewers.
I was going to head out and make some more coffee coaster blanks for Melanie but ended up just working on the blog site.
In the night it was so bright you could literally see everything without lights. The snow makes everything light right up.
