Melanies First Time Ever Ice Skating And Im Not Much Better

I looked for ice skates online and found some for Melanie. We immediately drove out to get them for her. When we got home we went skating. This was Melanie's first time ever ice skating.

I have not been on the ice in many years so I was very shaky as well. Mice had eaten my shoe laces so I used 550 cord to replace them for now. It was not ideal and not especially comfortable but it worked.

It took us both a while to get our feet under us. But Melanie surprised me by picking up on ice skating quite rapidly considering it was her first time.

She did not really fall much. After a while the only time she fell was my fault.

It does not look like I am a good teacher on video I think. We both looked quite awkward.

But we had fun and she wants to do this again.
