Saturday Helping Friends & Peaceful Homestead Evening

Saturday I was out all day helping friends. In the evening we had a nice peaceful time on the homestead. Melanie and I got a package in the mail.

We went out to help a friend the entire day Saturday. We helped work inside the house, repairing a few things during the first half of the day.

Later I was outside working on an old riding lawn mower that had been left behind by the previous owner. It needed some love and care but I got it running in the end and he was so happy.

The heat was so bad on this day though that it burnt me out. I had mild heat exhaustion from working out in the sun all day.

When we got home I had to take it easy a bit and rest for a while.

We got a package in the mail. It was a beautiful homemade frame made of barn wood with some writings on the images. Thank you very much. We both like it and will find a place for it on our wall.
