1st Day & Lost Power ~ Moving Into Our New Home

We spent our first night in the new home which we will be taking off the grid asap. The ironic thing is that this house is on the grid and the first morning in our new home we lost power.

It feels so helpless to be on the grid after all these years off the grid. We are no longer in control of our own utilities. When we lost the grid power in the morning I realized how good we had it on the last homestead.

We will be taking our new home off the grid on a budget like I did all those years ago at the old homestead.

I finished cleaning out the garage and moved the drawers over to the other side. This allows me to drive a car in and work on it if I want in the future.

Next I started to empty the moving truck and pack things into my new garage.
