The Buffalo News announces plans to move print production to Cleveland

On Monday The Buffalo News announced plans to move its print production to Cleveland. The move is expected to impact about 160 positions associated with the printing and distribution of the paper. The Buffalo Newspaper Guild released a statement that said in part "the Buffalo Newspaper Guild is disappointed that Lee Enterprises continues to focus its efforts on ways to reduce costs at The Buffalo News rather than on ways to invest in the operation."
