Started Building Shelves But Spent Day In Hospital Instead

The day started out well enough. I got out all my tools and started to build a book shelf to sit on top of the end table I just made. But then we ended up spending the day at the hospital.Show more

We called in to schedule a normal appointment for Melanie. But the nurse on duty was a bit flustered when we told her our situation and insisted that we come into the birthing center immediately.

I tried to let her know that nothing really has changed in two weeks since we had been there but she said the baby could die if we did not come in immediately to the birthing center.

So we went and spent the day in the hospital running tests. Some time was at the birthing center and some time spent waiting to see a doctor later on.

The doctor told us what we already knew. That we had to make a normal appointment to see Melanie's doctor.

And one more thing though. If Melanie does not give birth over the weekend then we will schedule an appointment next week to induce labor.

So, after a day at the hospital, we are back home again with the same results we started out with. We wait.
