I have taken an old cedar wood closet that I dismantled about a year ago and a closet frame I made out of recycled wood and put the two together to make a cedar wood closet for Melanie. Read the full article: http://www.thedoityourselfworld.com/articles/article.php?id=11398

I had this cedar wood that I recycled from an old antique closet a friend gave me a little over a year ago. I had stored it in the wood tent for a later project.

Around that time I had also built a closet frame using mostly recycled pallet wood. But I never finished putting the two together. I realized at the time that my closet was too big for the off grid tiny house loft.

Today I cut the closet frame shorter and narrower to fit in the tiny house loft better.

I shortened the frame by 9 inches and then made it narrower by about 4 inches. This gives me the perfect closet size to hang clothes on hangers.

Next I cut the antique cedar wood to fit the sides of my new closet. It is looking very nice now.

And finally I cut the top of the original antique cedar closet to fit my new homemade closet in my tiny house loft.

A few screws held it in place.

I sat back to admire my work. The tiny house is coming together nicely now.
