Hauling Logs For Fire Wood ~ Melanie Canning Garden Harvest
Some friends came over and helped me find the damaged wires in the truck. We got it running and I started hauling loads of logs for fire wood. Melanie is canning our garden harvest.
The truck has been down for a while now because it was not getting fuel to the engine. Some friends came over and were messing with the wires. They had found some damaged wires but after three people were pawing around in the wires, we are not sure which ones they were. But the truck runs now.
It may have been a loose harness. But I cannot be sure.
The truck was also running rough and stalling out a lot so there was something wrong with the fuel. I had just filled it the last time I drove it so it was fresh gas when I parked the truck.
We put some additives and cleaners in the tank and filled it up to the top which only took 4 gallons. The truck smoothed out and ran well after that. So there was something in the gas tank which the truck did not like.
A neighbor had cut down a bunch of trees and a friend and I hauled three loads of the logs home and stacked them up. These will be good for next year because they are green. But they are cleaned and prepped so the wood is worth picking up I think.
It took us all day though with the three loads of wood and working on the truck in between. It was 5 pm by the time we were finished.
Then we fixed the mini bikes to go for a ride.
Melanie was busy all day canning produce from our garden harvest out in the porch kitchen. She had quite a setup out there.
She canned a mess of green beans and blueberries so far.
