Barn Wood Bathroom Shelf & Tiny House Disco Lights

I made a beautiful rustic barn wood shelf in our off grid tiny house bathroom to hold our towels and wash clothes. Then I put in some color changing LED lights in the tiny house living room.

I pulled out a nice piece of 9.5 x 2 inch barn wood from the old barn wood pile to make a shelf for our tiny house bathroom.

I have wanted to put a shelf in there for a while now and finally got to it.

I cut the piece to fit and then cut a rounded edge where the shelf meets the shower so that nobody can get hurt on the edge.

Then I sanded the board down to remove any edges and sharp points.

I used some scrap 2x2 material to make a frame which will attach to the tiny home bathroom wall.

Next I took the shelf into the off grid tiny house and fastened it to the bathroom wall.

I am liking it a lot already.

I grabbed some towels and wash cloths and put the on our new rustic bathroom shelf. Melanie loves it very much.

Most of our off grid tiny house on wheels is made using reclaimed lumber and recycled materials. I am doing this in part to save money. In part to show that it can be done. And in part because I cannot afford new materials anyway.

Next I put up some SunJack USB powered LED lights. These are the LED camp lights I showed a while back in a video review.

They are remote controlled and color changing LED lights.

There were some dark areas in the off grid tiny house that have been bothering me for a while now.

I finally got these lights installed in the living room. They really make a difference in here now. The dark corners are now well lit and the wall hangings are clearly seen now.

And we have mood setting color changing lights in our off grid tiny home.

Another package arrived with some gloves for Melanie. The first package with gloves was for Chris and myself.
