Very HOT ~ Packages Arrived ~ Guess What I Did Today

It was over 90 degrees in the shade yesterday. Some packages arrived in the mail containing my car parts and some gifts.

I put two wheelbarrow loads of chicken bedding on the garden. I spread it carefully between the plants, trying not to touch the plants directly. I got the idea from seeing how green the grass is where the chickens have been. After a few rain storms the grass really gets dark green and grows better.

So I figured I can do the same thing for the garden plants if I am careful not to get any directly on the plants.

My car parts arrived in the mail. Plus a few large boxes. I got some huge and heavy duty tarps. Plus a quadcopter with a built in camera. This is going to be a lot of fun here on the homestead. Once I learn how to fly it well I plan to make some videos with it.
