Hottest Day Yet On The Homestead

It hit 100 degrees yesterday in the shade at our place. We are only able to work in the early mornings and just before dark these days.

We are still gardening heavily when the weather permits though.

Melanie got a package full of beads. She is so happy and excited to get crafting with these.

In town it was 20 degrees cooler than at our place. The lake really makes a difference and keeps the temperature milder than at our place.
