“Of Whom Should Unbelievers Be Really Afraid?” from Luke 12:1-9

God's omniscience is a fabulous blessing for believers but a dread to unbelievers. Why? Because believers want their heavenly Father to know everything about them so that he can disciple them perfectly. Unbelievers dread the omniscience of God because deep down they know they will be judged for everything they do and even for every secret thought. These warnings issued by Jesus to the crowd were intended to bring the small group of seekers to repentance while leaving the hardened in their sins.
