Bush 43 had 911, the resulting wars, a shuttle accident and Katrina. Biden’s or shall we say Obama’s third term is a hurricane of Katrinas.
As I watched the balloon story unfold I was completely unmoved or fazed by the mindless shift to UAP’s in their narrative. It was like listening to the old Bill Cosby story about he and his brother jumping on the bed and then trying to tell their father when he came into the room it was some guy that came into the window and did it to get them into trouble. It was infantile I was, as I said not surprised. Lazy liars are kind of amusing. The usual cast of clowns who are slowly being removed from the public sphere by plummeting ad revenues parroted those absurd lines. Now they’re echoing the line about how many times it happened before. They are all in unison dissembling uninterested in the truth, regarding the border, Ukraine and Nordstream. It’s like driving home from work and seeing a drunk coming up from behind at a high speed. All you can do is speed up and find a way to get clear of the impending disaster. Ignoring is not an option to anybody but the fatally depressed or suicidal. Everyone is slowly getting swept up in the growing psychological wave. Yeats ‘The Second Coming” comes to mind. The Second Coming

As I have watched all of this build it has reminded me more and more of a story a friend at work (Carter R) told me many years ago. He grew up in Michigan and it was winter time. He and five of his friends were out looking for a bear and there were a few places they were checking out. They finally found a cave with a hibernating bear in it. They had a smoke bomb and drew straws to decide who the crash dummy was going to be. Obviously one of them lost. They were in two groups of three about sixty feet apart and one hundred feet outside of the cave entrance. The one boy ran into the cave, delivered the smoke bomb. The boy ran back to his group and was handed his shotgun. That bear was reeally pissed off. All six of them were ready. That bear upon seeing the boy rejoining his group, headed straight for them. All three of them choked except for one who shot poorly before choking too. The other group stood there in almost frozen horror over what they had so stupidly set into motion. They were aiming at that bear as it headed for their three friends. It was twenty feet away when they finally shot and it dropped coming to a stop about a foot away from them. All six of them had one thing in common at that point. They had to change their drawers. That is where childish hubris can take you.
