Jesus Sends out His Disciples

In Luke 9 Jesus commissions the twelve to go out preaching, teaching and healing. We come to this passage at the beginning of a week that commemorates a day of united prayer to God for revival and awakening that has been going on for 200 years in the United States. Let's join in this concert of prayer this week as Jesus sends out a new generation to bring the Good News.
