The Tornado-S is an upgraded version of the BM-30 Smerch and fires heavier 300mm rockets. It is reported to have a range of 75 miles and is capable of detonating an area of 2.6 miles.
The 300 mm Tornado-S MLRS is capable of firing at a range of 120 km and covering an area exceeding 60 ha.
