Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine has been ongoing for six years and shows no signs of slowing down. It all began in 2014, when Russian-backed forces started to gain control of parts of eastern Ukraine and the ensuing conflict is still claiming lives today. The situation has forced thousands of Ukrainian civilians to flee their homes as combat continues despite various ceasefire agreements over the years. With an estimated 13,000 people dying, separatist groups gaining more power, and no peaceful resolution in sight, it looks like the crisis will continue for some time yet.
