February 18th, 2023 MISH'PATIM-Shabbat

We had a powerful time in our Shabbat service yesterday. The Torah study was MISH'PATIM. We talked about the one new man of believers in the New Covenant. How did we get to this subject? It was by learning about when Israelites had Hebrew slaves, they were to be set free on the seventh year which is the Shemita or Sabbath year. It was about what would happen if you were a slave and your master gave you a wife. The master is Y'hovah Elohim (God). All of this and more is symbolic of Messiah as the groom and us as His bride.
