Movies are always in the spotlight and in front of everything. When there is totalitarianism and people lose their freedom, movies usually bear the brunt of the punishment! Dictators, like dictators everywhere else, must suppress culture. Movies can create culture that has a direct impact on audiences. As a result, dictators usually deal with movies. I think of Hong Kong… ops Sorry. I suppose the world is one in which nations and people fight for their freedom. They must also support movies because movies speak for you.
