Who Are We? Pt 3 We are the Connected 02/19/2023

This is Part 3 of the series. Pastor Richard Lister of Electric City Fellowship continues the series speaking about how we are all connecting in the body of Christ. God uses our God-given talents and natural abilities to tell others about Christ and help with the power of the Holy Spirit to bring them into God's kingdom through salvation.

In Ephesians 4, Paul explains the importance of unity in the body of Christ as he writes, “There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

Paul emphasizes the importance of unity and connection within the body of Christ. We are all connected to each other through the power of the Holy Spirit and have been given different gifts and talents by God. We can use these gifts to build each other up and encourage each other in our faith.

God calls us to be unified in our faith and to use the talents and abilities He has given us to bring others into His kingdom. We should look for ways to share the Gospel with those who do not know Christ, and use our talents and abilities to show them the love and mercy of God.

In closing, Paul tells us to “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:2-3).
