In this video, I discuss the series of rolling bubbles (stocks, housing, sovereign debt) that have been used by US policy makers to try to "kick the can down the road" for the past 25 years.

Following the advice of Paul Krugman and Paul McCulley, Alan Greenspan engineered a US housing bubble to try to mitigate the effects from the popping of the US stock market bubble that Greenspan also caused.

Then Greenspan had to pop the housing bubble, which ended up almost bringing down the entire US banking system.

This led directly to the Fed's quantitative easing (QE) which has continued to the present. The Fed has now been co-opted into monetizing US government deficit spending-- and will need to continue to do this until the US dollar has become completely worthless, or we have transitioned to a Bitcoin standard.

The arrogance and incompetence of central bankers and fiat economists should never be underestimated.
