Keeping your service dog SAFE when in public places 🦮 (or pet dog!)

When out and about, it's important to keep your service dog safe. Make sure they wear an ID tag or vest so that people know they're a service animal, and respect the fact that they aren't to be petted or interrupted while in action. Always observe your environment; are there any unfamiliar noises that may cause discomfort or distract them from their duties? If so, pick a spot with less noise if possible. Be aware of your pup's health needs as well; make sure he has access to water often, and if applicable check for ticks after walking in tall grasses. Keeping alert and careful will ensure your four-legged companion stays happy and healthy on outings!
