Footage of extensive flooding that affected areas near Accra, the capital city of Ghana. It came after Accra registered 5 inches of rainfall the previous week.

The worst affected areas were rural places outside of Accra where whole villages were submerged and had to be evacuated. Over 2000 people had to be evacuated from one. A burst dam washed a way a water treatment plant which supplied Accra with 9 million gallons of water a day.
