Sir Samuel Bankole-Jones expresses his reservations about serving a military government which has suspended the country's constitution before he is sworn in as the President of the Court of Appeals.

Lieutenant-Colonel Andrew Juxon-Smith arrives in Freetown by launch to take over the reins of power. It had earlier being announced that Lieutenant-Colonel Ambrose Patrick Genda would head the National Reformation Council.
