Wind of God

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬
The Wind's intent is to create a Holy Witness in the earth

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

There is purpose in the wind coming!

The wind has a message

Acts 2:40 be saved from this perverse generation

The Breath of God/The Wind or whirlwind of God
“The Lord has His way In the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet.” Nahum‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

“And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind.” Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

“He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.” Psalms‬ ‭135‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

The breath and wind of God is to be feared.
“He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens; And by His power He brought in the south wind. He also rained meat on them like the dust, Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas; And He let them fall in the midst of their camp, All around their dwellings. So they ate and were well filled, For He gave them their own desire. They were not deprived of their craving; But while their food was still in their mouths, The wrath of God came against them, And slew the stoutest of them, And struck down the choice men of Israel. In spite of this they still sinned, And did not believe in His wondrous works. Therefore their days He consumed in futility, And their years in fear. When He slew them, then they sought Him; And they returned and sought earnestly for God. Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer. Nevertheless they flattered Him with their mouth, And they lied to Him with their tongue; For their heart was not steadfast with Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant.” Psalms‬ ‭78‬:‭26‬-‭37‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Therefore thus says the Lord God: “I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury; and there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it. So I will break down the wall you have plastered with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered; it will fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. “Thus will I accomplish My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it, that is, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,’ ” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

The wind of God demands a transformed life and will judge those who hang around and refuse to change

2 Samuel 6:1 Uzzah reached out and God judged him

Ananias and Sapphire judged

Acts 5:11 and great fear fell upon the church

Wind will accomplish its task

“But the Lord sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was about to be broken up.” Jonah‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

The wind caused even the heathen to recognize there was a false prophet in the boat.

They threw him overboard
Judgment begins with the house of God. 1Timothy 4:17

“And it happened, when the sun arose, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah’s head, so that he grew faint. Then he wished death for himself, and said, “It is better for me to die than to live.” Then God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?” And he said, “It is right for me to be angry, even to death!” But the Lord said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?” Jonah‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

God will shift the winds to His purpose and even turn the winds against us which in turn will purify Himself a church without spot or wrinkle
