Incredibly difficult exercise to do. Highly recommend using some sort of booty band to help you control the pelvis when lifting the foot. Without it the rotation in the pelvis increases and most ppl I have found just do not have that strength. Once I put the booty band around their knees....magic! Bands are not exepensive and worth it
