283 The End of Days - DISCIPLESHIP

🤗 Most of us think we know and understand what Discipleship is - after all, the word is used more than 500 times in The New Testament so it is obviously important to God and should therefore be of great importance to us too.
However some Christians today think that disciples only belong IN The Bible and lived ONLY in biblical times – but that is not the case. Certainly, in those days, a disciple literally sat at the feet of their tutor / master, often living under the same roof; watching and copying what he did, being trained up to be just LIKE their Teacher (Rabbi) – and such an apprenticeship could take many years. It was very common – in Luke 5:33 it doesn’t just mention Jesus’ disciples but also those of John the Baptist AND the Pharisees.
IS discipleship important? Why? How do we do it – how do we become a disciple? Is it expensive???
