1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson continues his conversation with Ralph and Danielle Drollinger, founders of Capitol Ministries. The Drollingers share how their ministry serves political leaders around the world, and changes hearts through insightful Bible studies. Similar to the Apostle Paul’s missionary journey to capital cities, Ralph and Danielle have established faith fellowship groups in 42 of America’s state capitol buildings.

About Today's Guests: Ralph and Danielle Drollinger
Ralph Drollinger is a clergyman and retired professional basketball player. He is also the co-founder of Capitol Ministries, an organization with a mission to bring the gospel to political leaders around the world. Ralph personally leads weekly Bible studies to White House cabinet members, and U.S. Senators in Washington D.C. He played basketball for legendary Coach John Wooden at UCLA, and graduated with a degree in ecosystems. He later earned a masters of divinity from The Master's Seminary. Ralph went on to work with Athletes in Action for four years, and later signed with the Dallas Mavericks. He then served in sports ministry as the director of Sports Outreach America. Ralph and his wife, Danielle, have three grown children and seven grandchildren.

Danielle Drollinger, alongside her husband, Ralph, founded Capitol Ministries. She previously served as a senate fellow in the California State Capitol, later serving a California senator as his chief of staff. Between 1992 and 1994, Danielle served full-time with Focus on the Family, which opened the door for her to become minority senior staff director for the Congressional Select Committee on Children, Youth and Families, where she worked until 1995. During that same year, Danielle became the executive director of the Independent Business PAC, and served there until 1997. From 1997 to the present, Danielle has served Capitol Ministries in many ways, but has now focused her efforts primarily on administrating the DC ministry.
