Nora is a polar bear cub who was born on November 6, 2015, at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio, USA. She was rejected by her mother shortly after birth and was hand-reared by zoo staff. Nora quickly became a beloved internet sensation, with her growth and development closely followed by fans around the world.

As Nora grew, she was introduced to other polar bears and began to learn important social skills. In March 2017, she was moved to the Oregon Zoo in Portland, Oregon, where she continued to thrive and grow. At the Oregon Zoo, Nora was given access to a large, naturalistic habitat that included a pool, rocky outcroppings, and plenty of space to explore and play.

In 2020, Nora was moved to the Utah Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she continues to grow and develop. She is now a young adult polar bear, and visitors to the zoo can watch her as she explores her habitat, swims in her pool, and interacts with her keepers.

Nora's story is a testament to the dedication and hard work of zoo staff who work tirelessly to care for and raise young animals, especially those who have been rejected by their mothers.
