Having Fun in Rio (The Colonial Way)

Imagine carnaval in Rio without samba. Also, no street carnaval parade groups (blocos), no carnival marches, and of course, no Sambadrome. Instead, imagine something like hell week in college; everyone in the streets and even in family homes throwing things at each other, from raw eggs, to flower to water, or even all of these combined and sometimes EVEN URINE.
This was carnaval in Rio back in colonial times and since this video is premiering the day before ash Wednesday, what more appropriate topic then this?
So prepare your costume of choice and let's party hard because it's time for carnaval, colonial style.
