VIDEO - FED EX 767 LANDING AND A SWA 737 TAKING OFF ON THE SAME RUNWAY THEY MISS EACH OTHER BY 75FT

Trying to use the same runway at the same exact time in the fog. Air Traffic Control cleared both of them for the same runway at the same time. They were keeping it weird in Austin Texas.

The Air Traffic Control audio is real. However this appears to be a flight simulator video (in my opinion). Why do I say that? For one it is actually too good of a video for the actual occurrence Two, because according to radar tracking the Fed Ex plane was actually over the top of the Southwest Airlines 737 for several seconds. This video does not show them actually being as close as they were. Three the weather conditions were foggy and visibility was down to around 600 to a 1000 feet on the runway and I don't see that in the video.

I debated putting this up because of all that but went ahead because it is a pretty good visual of how close they came to a collision. I believe this however to be a simulation.

He goes over the radar and the ATC audio and matches the two up.

However even if it is not real, it is a very good simulation. It gives a pretty good visual of what actually happened. Those two planes were about as close as you could get without a major accident.
