Arrow Class: Genesis 34:5
Jacob was at home when Dinah had gone out to see the women of Shechem, but when he heard that Dinah had been taken and mistreated he waited to do anything until his sons came inside from taking care of the animals. Jacob was being slow to anger and to act on that anger. Today let’s read Genesis 34:5 and James 1:19 and encourage your Tiny Arrow to follow this verse and remind them of it throughout the day!
When Jacob heard that his daughter Dinah had been defiled, his sons were in the fields with his livestock; so he did nothing about it until they came home.
Genesis 34:5
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak; and slow to become angry.
James 1:19
