Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko has blamed the West for the war in Ukraine, claiming further escalation will lead to nuclear weapons being used.
A close ally of Russia's President Vladimir Putin, Lukashenko has previously defended the war.
His country has not sent any troops to fight in Ukraine, but military co-operation between Russia and Belarus has been on the increase.
