A story-driven adventure game on the overwhelming force of sadness is called Beneath the Waves. Professional diver Stan is battling to move past a life-altering loss and embrace a fresh future in the 1970s techno-futuristic North Sea setting. The seclusion of the deep sea is an appropriate reflection of Stan's mental state, and as he descends farther into his self-imposed isolation, he begins to encounter bizarre occurrences well below the waves. He'll eventually have to make a challenging decision... either forever be lost in the depths, or manage to escape and live the remainder of his life on land.
