Search And Rescue Efforts Continue In Hatay

This footage shows emergency workers in Turkey continuing their search and rescue efforts with the help of trained dogs as they race against time to locate the last survivors of the earthquake.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from the Turkish Ministry of National Defence, along with a short statement: "TAF [Turkish Armed Forces] Natural Disaster Search and Rescue Battalion's search and rescue operations in Hatay continue uninterrupted."

In the video, crews can be seen carefully going through destroyed buildings while dogs sniff out the piled-on ruins to check for any victims.

Their efforts are joined by excavator operators who slowly clear out the rubble.

A 7.7 and a 7.6-magnitude earthquakes struck Turkey in the early morning hours of 6th February.

Hatay is one of the 10 Turkish provinces where the earthquakes' were mostly felt.

As per the latest update by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency , 36,187 have died and 108,068 are injured in Turkey.

Along with more than 5,814 casualties in Syria, more than 42,000 people are confirmed dead.
