U.S. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said she would not advise anyone to use the Chinese social media app Tik Tok due to security concerns. Monaco announced today that she is heading a new ‘strike force’ aimed at protecting American technology amid tensions between Washington and Beijing. The strike force will be a joint effort between the Commerce and Justice Departments.
