AEK player Oleh Danchenko has suffered a cardiac arrest and is in critical condition after his heart stopped 3 times after collapse during training in Turkey.
Oleh Danchenko, 28-years-old, plays for the Ukrainian Premier League Club Zorya Luhansk. He is on loan from the Greek club AEK Athens and was at Luhansk for a training camp in Turkey. The incident occurred right before playing a casual soccer game. According to Greek publication Skai, the staff member of an Austrian team was at the scene with a defibrillator on hand to respond. Medical staff immediately rushed to him to provide aid.
